After a significant price drop and a “Must Be Under Contract By Labor Day” marketing push we had an extremely busy weekend that resulted in two (2) offers.
Over the four days between price drop and accepted offer we had nine (9) agent showings and eleven (11) groups through the Open House.
Neither offer was at full price, but we worked with both buyers agents and the seller to get higher than the offers originally started and into a level the seller was comfortable with. It’s certainly a challenging market. I personally sold this same floor-plan in the same neighborhood just last year (August of 2025) for $1,650,000, and that one was on a small lot backing to a busy road… So we’ve dropped over $200,000 in just 12 months.

Seattle’s housing market posted the steepest year-over-year decline in pending home sales in July 2026, falling 15.6% — the sharpest drop among all major U.S. metropolitan areas GeekWire+1.
